Atlas call transcript extraction (coming to Atlas)

Updated 2 min read

Intake is an upcoming Atlas capability that will take a call transcript, dropped in or wired in from Fireflies and other notetakers, and extract the structured intent inside it: commitments, decisions, facts, people, and scope changes. It will then file each item where you keep that kind of note and remember the choice, so it files the same way next time. The aim is to stop call transcripts from piling up unread.

From transcript to filed knowledge

A consultant's commitments and decisions live in call transcripts and then rot, because turning them into filed notes is manual work.

Intake will run a single extraction pass over each transcript and pull out the items that matter, each tagged with who said it and a link back to the line it came from. What was buried in an hour-long recording becomes a short list of commitments, decisions, and facts you can act on.

It learns your filing system

The first time it sees a kind of item for a client, Intake will ask where you want it filed, then remember.

Commitments for one client might go to a checklist, decisions to a decision log, people to your knowledge base. Intake will learn these routing rules per client and per item type, file new items automatically, and let you correct any choice, which updates the rule. The agent learns your information architecture instead of being told it every time.

Drop-in today, wired-in next

Intake is designed to work with any notetaker, with deeper integration for the tools you use most.

Dropping in an exported transcript will work for any source. A Fireflies integration will pull finished calls in automatically. The same extraction and filing will apply either way, and the capability will be opt-in per workspace.

Frequently asked questions

Is Atlas transcript extraction available now?
Not yet. It is a planned Atlas capability. This page describes the intended behavior.
Which notetakers will it support?
Any notetaker via dropped-in transcript files, with a planned Fireflies integration for automatic ingestion and more sources to follow.
What does it extract?
Commitments, decisions, facts, people, scope changes, and action items, each linked back to the transcript line it came from.
Will I have to tell it where to file everything?
Only once per kind of item per client. After that it files the same way automatically, and you can change any rule later.
